Continuum of Care

Continuum of Care

A Continuum of Care (CoC) is a regional or local planning body designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to coordinate housing and services for homeless individuals and families. A CoC is comprised of nonprofit organizations, local government representatives, and community stakeholders, and manages federal funding (from HUD) to address homelessness. The CoC Board, known locally as the HUD CoC Committee, makes decisions on behalf of this planning body.
