The MMICP is a voluntary card program that allows law enforcement to verify the validity of a patient’s authorization to use medical marijuana.
Vital Registration
This program registers home / out-of-hospital births that have occurred in Alameda County in the last year and also provides permits for funeral directors who are handling or transporting deceased persons.

Community Assessment, Planning, and Evaluation (CAPE)
The Community Assessment, Planning, and Evaluation (CAPE) Unit conducts data analysis and evaluation for the Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD) as well as for policymakers, partner organizations, and Alameda County residents.
