The ACBHD Audit & Cost Reporting Unit reviews cost reports submitted by providers for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services, prepares cost reports for submission to the State Department of Health Care Services, manages DHCS audits and appeals, monitors expenditures for compliance, and completes cost settlements with ACBHD contractors.
The ACBHD Billing & Benefits Support Unit serves as the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) mediator charged with County-contracted provider billing and claiming setup, coordination, verification, resolution, and payment, as well as client benefit representation, application, resolution, training, and support.
The Budget Unit is responsible for budget development, mid-year adjustments, quarterly projections, project and grant fiscal management, Medi-Cal revenue and IGT management, BHSA budget planning and expenditure reporting, and funding requests.
The ACBHD Contracts Unit develops, oversees, and administers contracts and other unique service agreements for mental health and substance use disorder services.
ACBHD Facility Development manages, directs, and coordinates owned and leased facilities utilized by Behavioral Health Department staff and its affiliates.
The Fiscal Services Unit is responsible for Community Based Organization (CBO) Accounts Payable, General Accounting, and Position Control.
