Starting on July 1, 2026 the Housing Assistance Fund will be folded into the new Home Together Move-In Assistance Fund. More information is available here.
Any HAF applications submitted on or before June 30, 2026, must be fully completed, including submission of all required documentation and resolution of any outstanding application items, by July 15, 2026. Applications that remain incomplete after July 15, 2026, will not be eligible for further processing through HAF and providers will be redirected to other community resources.
Program Information
The Housing Assistance Fund, managed by Alameda County Health, was created to provide a flexible source of funding to help eligible households in Alameda County to obtain and maintain long-term, stable housing. Eligible applicants must work with a service provider to complete and submit a program application. All communications about applications in process take place between the service provider and Housing Assistance Fund staff.
