Substance Use Treatment

Alameda County Health Care for the Homeless (ACHCH) provides a range of substance use and harm reduction services throughout our health center, including Street Health, Shelter Health, and primary care sites such as Trust Health Center and AHS primary care clinics. Substance use services provided at primary care clinics and through street health teams include direct access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). ACHCH health center providers also provide substance use counseling and referrals to substance use treatment and harm reduction counseling and supplies, including naloxone training and supplies to prevent opioid overdoses.
