An initiative designed to address the unique needs of individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. This program provides EMS providers with specialized training in recognizing and managing psychiatric emergencies, ensuring compassionate and appropriate care during these situations.
Comprised of licensed clinicians, the Critical Care Management Team supervises psychiatric resources, authorizes services for those on involuntary holds, helps to ensure quality care, and collaborates on treatment plans.
IHBS aims to help youth build skills necessary for functioning in the home and community and can be effective in preventing a child from being removed from the home.
