The CARE Act authorizes specified adult persons to petition a civil court to create a voluntary CARE agreement or a court ordered CARE plan for persons with untreated schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
The Care First, Jails Last program prioritizes a comprehensive care continuum over incarceration for mental illness and substance use, and advocates for justice and equity reforms.
Case management helps facilitate client wellness and autonomy through advocacy, assessment, planning, communication, education, money management, and service facilitation.
Comprised of licensed clinicians, the Critical Care Management Team supervises psychiatric resources, authorizes services for those on involuntary holds, helps to ensure quality care, and collaborates on treatment plans.
We have walk-in clinics located throughout the county where clients can receive same-day medication assessment, treatment, and referrals for ongoing psychiatric care.
