Housing Interventions component is 35% of total BHSA funds. Housing Interventions goal is to increase access to permanent supportive housing for individuals living with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders, who are chronically homeless, experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness. The aim is to place individuals in permanent supportive settings; funding may also be used for interim settings in collaboration with MCPs. If you are looking for housing services, please call 211.

Interim Settings
- Hotel and motel stays
- Non-congregate interim housing
- Congregate settings with small number of individuals per room and sufficient common space (not dormitory sleeping halls, nor residential treatment settings)
- Recuperative Care
- Short-term post-hospitalization
- Tiny homes, emergency sleeping cabins, emergency stabilization units
