Family Paths/TIPS Program

NOTICE: Due to planned reorganization beginning in the summer of 2026, Family Paths Clinical Intern Program will be on a pause for the 2026-27 school year to allow time for reflection and strategic decision-making on the best way forward with our intern program to meet our community needs and organizational goals. Location: Oakland and Hayward

Age Group Served: Children, Teens, Transition Age Youth (and their families) and Adults and couples who are parents/caregivers

Placement Period: 12 month commitment – usually September-August but some flexibility on start date depending on openings

Program/Placement Hours: 20-24 hours per week

Preferred Discipline / Experience: Experience with parents, children, families, culturally diverse populations, trauma all helpful, especially in clinical setting. Bilingual Spanish always a plus!

First or Second Year Students: Second Year students only

Supervision & Support: One hour/week individual & two hours/week group supervision, 2-3 times monthly didactic trainings, other consultation available as needed
