Program Information
The Contracts Unit manages and administers a variety of contracts and agreements and manages the lifecycle of a contract including procurement of services, contract development, negotiations, and monitoring to support ACBHD in the provision of Behavioral Health services.
The Behavioral Health Department’s Contracts Unit is part of the Finance Division within Plan Administration. Specific services are noted below and are provided by the Contracts Unit in support of Community-Based Organization (CBO) Contracts, Standard Services Agreements, the Network of Mental Health Individual Providers (MHIPs) and other specific agreements in support of behavioral health.
Specific services include:
- Procurement of direct client services
- Contract development and negotiations
- Board letters
- Contract renewals
- Contract amendments
- Contract monitoring
- Performance data and program reports
- Site visits
- Reconciliation and tracking of allocations and changes in funding
