Alameda County’s Substance Use Continuum of Care provides the following types of treatment
services:
- Outpatient Treatment: Up to 19 hours of services per week, including group and individual counseling.
- Recovery Residence: Sober living homes while in outpatient treatment provided off-site.
- Residential Treatment: Live-in program with on-site treatment
- Withdrawal Management: 24/7 clinically managed detoxification and sobering supports
- Opioid Treatment (OTP): Detox and maintenance medication-assisted treatment and counseling.

What happens when I call?
You will participate in a 15-minute phone screening with a clinical staff member to discuss your concerns. The staff member will ask a series of questions to assess your needs and determine which type of treatment is appropriate for you. An in-person screening may be requested.
The Helpline staff will provide ongoing care navigation to those who are admitted into residential treatment or recovery residence services.
