Location: Tri-City Area, CA (Fremont, Newark, and Union City)
Age Group Served: Children & Youth 8-22 years old (18+must be enrolled in school)
Program Description: Tri-City Children & Youth Services provides individual, family, psychotherapy. Clinicians also coordinate care with the site psychiatrist, if appropriate, and collaborate with community providers to support linkage and brokerage of adjunct services, as necessary. Tri-City has a commitment to providing services within a framework of socio-cultural sensitivity.
Placement Period: Academic school year; no summer interns
Program/Placement: Monday to Friday available
Preferred Discipline / Experience: MSW or MFT student
First or Second Year Students: Second Year student
Supervision & Support: Supervision by LCSW &/or other Licensed Clinician; Interns receive 2 hours of weekly group supervision & weekly didactic seminar relevant to children and youth.
