Program Information

The Contracts Unit manages and administers a variety of contracts and agreements and manages the lifecycle of a contract including procurement of services, contract development, negotiations, and monitoring to support ACBHD in the provision of Behavioral Health services.

The Contracts Unit is part of the Finance Division within Plan Behavioral Health Administration. Specific Contracts Unit activities include procurement of direct client services, contract development and negotiations, preparing Board Letters for the Board of Supervisors’ review, approval of contracts, completing contract renewals and amendments as applicable. Ongoing contract monitoring for compliance and performance monitoring, including data and program reports. Conducting regular site visits, tracking contract allocations by program and/or reporting unit (RU). Prepares budget modification and tracking of allocations for community-based organizations. Additionally, the Behavioral Health Administration Contracts Unit aids in the development and management of the Mental Health Plan Fee-for-Service Provider Network contracts and system requirements.
