Conditional Release Program (CONREP)

The Conditional Release Program (CONREP) is a state-funded program that provides services to clients who have been found not guilty by reason of insanity or mentally disordered offenders. These clients have committed criminal offenses due to mental illness. Once they are released by court order from the State Hospital, CONREP provides intensive treatment and supervision. CONREP’s mission is to protect public safety by providing clients with housing, psychiatric services, individual therapy, group therapy, case management, toxicology screens, and home visits.
