Quality Improvement and Accreditation (QIA) is a backbone for external-facing community groups convened by the Public Health Department. The backbone function includes staffing, technical assistance, and other resources that facilitate external community-based stakeholders’ leadership development and decision-making power. QIA houses and supports the staff assigned to external-facing groups working to improve individual and community health. QIA is currently supporting the following councils and commissions.
