Families play the biggest part in a child’s therapy. We will work with you and your child to create individual goals and a therapy plan to work towards those goals.
What services does the Medical Therapy Program (MTP) provide?
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) evaluation
- Home and school consultation
Medical Therapy Program (MTP) Eligibility
CCS MTP is a statewide program that assists children and youth who meet these three requirements. There is no income requirement for MTP services.
- Age: Birth to age 21
- Residency: Live in Alameda County
- Medical: Must have an eligible condition:
- Cerebral palsy and other conditions producing physical disabilities analogous to cerebral palsy, as defined by CCS regulations
- Neuromuscular conditions that produce muscle weakness and atrophy
- Chronic musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases or deformities
- Some children under age 3 who are increased risk of developing a CCS eligible neuromuscular disability
