ACPHD’s role with the Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) has changed as the program has uniquely divided authority between the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
The statewide CPSP program provides a wide range of services to pregnant individuals from conception through 60 days postpartum. In addition to standard obstetric services, qualified Medi-Cal providers may receive additional reimbursement for providing enhanced services in the areas of nutrition, psychosocial and health education.
Please visit the California State Public Health CPSP Website for updates, enrollment requirements, forms, and templates.
